2021-2022 Tuition & Fee Schedule

SBCA tuition is among the most affordable for private schools in Baldwin County. Need-based financial aid is also available.

REGISTRATION FEE

Includes registration processing, access to Blackbaud student information and parent communication system, and an SBCA yearbook.

CURRICULUM/TECHNOLOGY FEE

Includes curriculum, art supplies, technology, and general supplies. *The high school curriculum fee includes all of these items listed plus $25 per student applied to personal school supplies.

AFTERCARE/STUDY HALL

After school care is available for PreK and elementary students until 5:30 P.M. Study hall is available for middle school and high school students until 3:30 P.M.

The financial aid application period has closed for the 2021-2022 school year.

MONTHLY TUITION INSTALLMENTS

Families are given the option to pay tuition in monthly installments through our Smart Tuition system.

SIBLING DISCOUNT

A tuition discount of $100 will be applied for each additional sibling.

FINANCIAL AID

The Financial Aid Process

South Baldwin Christian Academy offers need-based tuition assistance to qualifying families. Financial Aid funding is available for the upcoming school year based on each student's individual and family income for the past two years.

Financial Aid will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.

Incomplete applications will NOT be considered. If awarded financial aid, all fees must be paid for at registration before the funds can be applied to your balance.

Partial Tuition Funding

SBCA will only cover up to half of a student's tuition depending on their grade level, tuition amount, and Smart Tuition application.

Application Timeline

All financial aid applications must be submitted through the Smart Tuition system and paid in full by the end of open enrollment. SBCA will begin accepting applications during open enrollment once returning student enrollment and new student admissions begin.

Applications will be evaluated as they are received and distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Returning Students

  • Application Due: March 15th
  • Award Notification: April 15th

New Students

  • Application Due: May 15th
  • Award Notification: June 15th

Eligibility Requirements

  • Kindergarten – 12th-grade student registered to be enrolled at SBCA.
  • Family must be in good financial standing with SBCA.
  • Students should not have any write-ups or suspensions for the year prior to applying.
  • Students should be in academic good standing.
  • If the student(s) attended SBCA the year prior to applying, ALL 10 parent-volunteer hours must be completed and signed off by SBCA staff.
  • Students must not exceed the allotted school days with tardies or days missed.
  • Must apply through the Smart Tuition system and pay the application fee in full prior to the end of open enrollment. This amount will NOT be reimbursed if the family is not approved or later decides to attend SBCA.

KAREN PURCELL SCHOLARSHIP

For Single Parents

The Karen Purcell Scholarship provides financial support and encouragement to single parents of students attending South Baldwin Christian Academy.

This scholarship applies to the upcoming school year and is based on one student’s tuition. It will cover no more than half of the current year's tuition, depending on the student's grade level and tuition amount.

SBCA will begin accepting applications during open enrollment once returning student enrollment and new student admissions begin. Late submissions will NOT be considered. Past scholarship recipients may re-apply for the upcoming year but must submit a new, original essay. Resubmissions will be immediately disqualified.

Returning Students

  • Application Due: March 15th

If awarded this scholarship, all fees must be paid for at registration before the funds can be applied to your balance. This amount will NOT be reimbursed if the family is not approved or later decides not to attend SBCA. The scholarship committee reserves the right to divide and award the scholarship to multiple applicants.
