School is out and SBCA Summer Camp started on Tuesday, June 1st. The kids enjoyed a nice three-day break for the Memorial Day Weekend and then returned to campus with huge smiles, ready to be at camp!
Our Summer Camp Director, Mrs. Rebecca Kleinschmidt, has been working on ideas for Summer Camp and she has all sorts of fun things for the kiddos’ participation, including a giant blow-up water slide on campus once every other week. For questions regarding the day-by-day operations of SBCA’s Summer Camp, please reach out to Mrs. Rebecca Kleinschmidt (RebeccaKleinschmidt@SouthBaldwinCA.net).
While you kick back and enjoy your summer break, know that we are prepping and planning for your kiddos to come back in August for the 2021-2022 school year. We’re so excited to be expanding and growing. Currently, we have 178 friends who are either returning to SBCA or joining us for the first time. It really will be a great year and we look forward to welcoming so many new families to ours!
Just a few things look out for over the summer:
- This month, information about SBCA t-shirts and “Back to School” packs will be emailed out with instructions on how to order them.
- Over the past year, our Parent-Teacher Fellowship has raised $35,000 for our newest upgrade, Operation: New Playground Project. We are looking to start breaking ground this summer and are hopeful that our new playground will be complete and ready for the return of our students for the 2021-2022 school year. Be sure to watch for updates and progress on our social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram and YouTube).
- Registration will be the last week of July, and more information, as well as sign-up times, will be sent out next month.
For questions regarding registration and the 2021-2022 school year, please feel free to reach out to me at Admissions@SouthBaldwinCA.org. Have a wonderful summer break! We look forward to seeing you in July at registration!
