Student Life

At SBCA, an important part of student life is being involved. The learning experience is more than just classroom academics; a successful student should be well-rounded.

ACTIVITIES & COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

We work hard to provide a wide variety of activities during and after school. We also offer opportunities for students to be a positive part of their communities.

CHAPEL SERVICES

Students in grades preschool through twelfth attend chapel services weekly. The school pastor emails the Biblical focus to all families monthly and ensures all teachers are instructing Bible verses and devotions that correlate with chapel services.

ATHLETIC TEAMS

The Athletic Department strives to nurture the development of all Scholar-Athletes through a wide range of interscholastic athletic programs. Athletic teams encompass students in grades 6-12. The girls’ and boys’ basketball teams and girls’ volleyball team include students in grades 6-12. Cheerleading contains students in grades 7-12. SBCA is a member of the Panhandle Christian Conference.

ATHLETIC CLUBS

All new athletic teams will initially begin as a “club” prior to being approved and submitted to the Panhandle Christian Conference to become a sanctioned conference team. This allows the opportunity for the students to learn and practice skills as a team under the SBCA Athletic Department. Elementary, middle, and high school students may participate in the following clubs: archery, wrestling, and cross country.
