Our middle school drama girls had a great time reading to grades K3-8th during “Read Across America.” For our little ones, they performed “Little Blue Truck” and “I Wish That I Had Duck Feet” for our bigger kids. They are also continuing to study the Broadway play, “Annie.”
In art, our middle school students were excited to be taking a field trip to the Mobile Art Museum. The Middle School Drama students tagged along for an art lesson by our Elementary/Middle School Art Teacher, Robin Schlauder and Drama Teacher/BSBA Studio Art major, Andie Bills. They learned about Native American Art and European Art: 17th – 19th Century. They also took a trip through 6 American Art galleries using different sorts of mediums to visually show expression at a time in history that was ground-breaking at its conception.
