Our mission at SBCA is to provide an excellent education in a safe and caring environment that helps students discover the plans God has for their lives. Because we know that the emotional and spiritual health of our students is a significant contributing factor to being able to realize this mission, we offer faith-based counseling services at no cost to SBCA students.
We would like to encourage you to take advantage of these beneficial services. Counseling services can help with everyday challenges that effect everyone such as critical thinking, becoming self-aware, life coping skills, processing your emotions, anger management and so much more. The American Academy of Psychiatry states that 1 in 5 children have a diagnosable emotional or behavioral disorder and the U.S. Department of Education believes that schools can play a crucial role in early diagnosis and treatment.
