We are excited to share that since the SBCA EXCEL Imagine. Tomorrow. campaign launched last August 2016, great advancements have been made. More than $200,000 has been pledged towards the campaign and, of that, $34,233.20 has been given. Thanks to the generosity of our parents and other community members, this summer we were able to begin making exciting progress in two of our three identified priority areas:
- The Student Experience
- As a commitment to ensuring a safe campus:
- Additional fencing was added to help enclose the campus.
- Security cameras and a surveillance monitor were installed.

- Classroom Technology & Innovation
- As a commitment to helping students achieve their full potential:
- Smart board technology is now featured in all of our middle and high school classrooms.

- Campus & Family Ministry
- As a commitment to helping students discover God’s plan for their lives:
- An AV system is being priced out for installation in the new gymnatorium.

You may have noticed the recent progress being made on our new gymnatorium. Trees are being removed and the property is being prepared to lay the foundation for a facility that will be equipped to offer athletic, fine arts and campus/family ministry opportunities for our students and this community. As we draw closer to the completion of this project, EXCEL campaign funds secured will be allocated to help fund the many facility essentials that will still need to be provided.
