Hey everyone, hopefully your summer has gotten off to a great start, and you have had plenty of time to enjoy your favorite activities with family & friends. I just want to take a minute to keep you informed as to our spiritual focus here on campus as well as our efforts to continue pressing forward in growing our spiritual culture at South Baldwin Christian Academy (SBCA).
Recently, Mr. Buzz Lance and I had the privilege of meeting with a group of local youth pastors which allowed us to discuss and receive feedback on a variety of ideas and potential emphases for our student ministry. Among the group was Dakota Stead from Orange Beach Community Church, Shawn Stead from Orange Beach UMC, Caleb Santa Cruz from Summit Church, Will Haynes from Lagoon Baptist Church, and Nathan Duckworth from The Point Church. These guys, as well as others who were unable to attend, were pivotal in helping us transform our Chapel program last year and, now, forecasting our steps ahead.
As we anticipate an amazing school year, we are excited about these relationships and how, together, we can provide opportunities for our students to take their next steps with Jesus.
As SBCA continues to grow, God is continuously faithful in meeting us in countless ways. We are so thankful for the local church partnerships He has blessed us with as we anticipate future opportunities for even more church and community involvement.
It’s a blessing to be a part of what God is doing here at SBCA and we are looking forward to what’s to come!
