What a blessing our Chapel services have been this year! It’s been such a joy to watch our students engage, learn and grow! We are so thankful for the continued investment in our middle and high school students by our local youth pastors. In addition, Mr. Tom, our new MS/HS music teacher, has used his creative ingenuity in helping our students engage during worship as well. Each week, they have a variety of handheld musical instruments to choose from and they love to play along with each song. It is a beautiful sight to see them playing their instruments and singing along together. As for our elementary students, they enjoy our motion worship that allows them to engage by dancing and performing various hand motions. Each week, their excitement fills the room as they lift their hands and voices to heaven. As always, all parents/guardians/family members are more than welcome to join their student(s) for Friday’s Chapel service.
Here are our service times:
- Middle School: 8:05 – 8:45 a.m.
- High School: 8:50 – 9:30 a.m.
- K-3rd: 9:35 – 10:05 a.m.
- 4th-6th: 10:10 – 10:40 a.m.
- Pre-K: 11:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.
For almost a month now, we have been heavily promoting our Operation Christmas Child (OCC) shoebox drive. Last year, we had such great success and we are praying for an abundance of shoeboxes again this year. We have played promotional videos each week that highlight individual testimonies of ministers, children, and even entire villages that have been tremendously impacted by OCC. OCC has also been the theme for our monthly Buddy Chapel services. Please, let me encourage you to thoughtfully pack the shoebox your student brought home (I have plenty of extras if you are interested), pray over your shoebox(es), and send them to school with your student the week of November 8th – 12th. This is such a wonderful opportunity to bless children in need all across the globe and we cannot do it without your support. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me at krisdeese@southbaldwinca.net.
Thank you so much! God bless!
