Greetings everyone! I’m excited to update you on the growth and progression of our Chapel program here at SBCA. One of our primary goals this school year has been building a network of local youth pastors to partner with us in ministering to our students. In addition to ministering here on campus, we are also passionate about providing opportunities for initiating and cultivating relationships between our students and our local youth ministries.
We are convinced that it takes a village to raise a child, and it is our priority to connect our students with any local church/ministry that will further compel their spiritual growth and their walk with Jesus.
We want to help all of our students take their next step with Jesus, and that is why we have been adamant about having local youth pastors here on our campus to share with us during our Chapel service on Fridays.
Our newest addition to the Chapel rotation is Dakota Stead. Dakota serves as the Youth Pastor at Orange Beach Community Church and has been an excellent addition to our ministry here. Furthermore, Dakota is also well connected here in South Baldwin and has connected me with a group of youth pastors who meet monthly for coffee and fellowship. As you can see, our network is growing and I am encouraged to introduce even more local youth pastors to our students in the months ahead.
We believe that we are making some wonderful strides here at SBCA in the direction of leading our students to know Jesus and make Jesus known. We also understand that this is God’s work and we are blessed to partner with Him in the Gospel ministry. It’s a joy to serve our students as we strive to lead them in loving God and loving each other. We would love to have you visit, so please feel free to stop by one Friday and join us for any or all of our Chapel services. God is most definitely on the move and I am eager to see what our future holds here at SBCA!
Love & Blessings!
