This is a new year with some new challenges, and, more importantly, more new opportunities for God to demonstrate His faithfulness in our lives and in our ministry here at SBCA. We are eager to embrace 2021 with all of its unknowns because our hope and our trust is in God, and His sovereignty over all creation. We have so much to be thankful for with countless reasons to rejoice and that is our focus as we move forward in taking our next steps with Jesus in 2021.
I am excited about the direction of our Friday Chapel services as our students are becoming more and more engaged during our time of worship as well as during our messages and teaching series. It has been such a blessing to have John Martin Davis lead us in worship and to have local youth pastors share God’s Word with our Middle & High School Students; I am looking forward to adding more Youth Pastors to our rotation.
I have also been blessed to lead Chapel services for our younger students as we have been studying the Book of 1 John through a video-driven teaching series available through RightNow Media. All of you should have received an invitation to RightNow Media back in December. If not, there is a link below for you to follow.
