Everyone's excited to be back on campus, and our first couple weeks of school have gone very well. One thing that has become tangibly apparent: Our school is growing! Of course, we're excited about this growth — even though it requires some stretching — and we look forward to navigating future challenges. SBCA Awarded Science Grants from the South Baldwin Chamber Foundation

The South Baldwin Chamber Foundation awarded SBCA with two grants that will be used for hands-on outdoor learning. One grant was awarded for a butterfly garden, which will be an outdoor "classroom" for hands-on, multi-disciplinary activities. The second grant will allow us to purchase a greenhouse and a composting system.

High School Students Participate in Alabama Water Watch Program

SBCA high school students are now participating in the Alabama Water Watch program. Alabama Water Watch is a volunteer, water quality monitoring program offered through the Auburn University Water Resources Center that covers all of the major river basins in Alabama.
