SBCA Adopts 5 Pillars of Excellence at 2nd Annual Staff Retreat

Our second annual staff retreat was a huge success! We focused on developing the five pillars of our learning community. Gulf Shores Learning Center hosted our team, and our stay at The Bunkhouse made us all feel like kids at summer camp again! Woodside Grill graciously took care of our meals and our guest speakers fed our souls as well as our minds.

How Involved Parents Are Transforming Our Campus

Our parents here at SBCA are really going above and beyond. Our Parent-Teacher Fellowship saw one of the most obvious needs was a playground project, and they have raised over $35,000 for Operation: New Playground. SBCA Awarded Science Grants from the South Baldwin Chamber Foundation

The South Baldwin Chamber Foundation awarded SBCA with two grants that will be used for hands-on outdoor learning. One grant was awarded for a butterfly garden, which will be an outdoor "classroom" for hands-on, multi-disciplinary activities. The second grant will allow us to purchase a greenhouse and a composting system.

Parent-Teacher Fellowship Announces “Operation: New Playground”

The Parent-Teacher Fellowship is announcing a project: Operation New Playground. The new playground will include a special area for our little ones and another for our bigger elementary school kiddos. The total cost of the project is $54,000 and we are hoping to break ground THIS Summer, but we need YOUR help.
