As you read this, we will be finishing up with our volleyball season and moving into post-season tournaments. Our Lady Knights have made great strides in learning the game of volleyball and have made us proud! Good luck in finishing the regular season in strong fashion and competing in our very first varsity post season tournament!
At this time, plans are being made for our youth basketball and cheerleaders. We will be reaching out to our parents to determine the interest level. We plan to offer 6U, 8U, and 10U levels. We will not be offering a 12U, as most of our young men will be participating in our newly formed Junior Varsity and High school team. Our youth games usually begin with one game before Christmas break and resume around the first week of January 2021, finishing around the middle of February. Our young ladies may participate on the boy’s teams.
Our JV/Varsity boys basketball will be holding a basketball training camp on Saturday, October 24th. An email survey has been sent out to all eligible boys in grades 7th – 12th. Please make sure you complete this form so that we will know how many athletes to plan for.
Varsity cheerleading will be kicking off shortly, is in the process of selecting the squad, and will soon be able to cheer our basketball teams on this season! We look forward to continuing with the success we experienced last year.
As mentioned in our previous communications, our archery team will be kicking off in January 2021. Specific dates will be forthcoming. Practices will be held on Friday afternoons.
If you have expertise or experience in helping develop a golf or tennis team, please contact us! These are sports that SBCA would like to explore offering in the Spring.
