Exciting things are happening in our Athletic Department at SBCA! We are pleased to announce that we will be offering Tennis and Golf lessons. Also, with the help of a generous donation from one of our parents, we purchase a top-of-the-line wrestling mat and are beginning a wrestling program.
The South Baldwin Chamber Foundation awarded SBCA with two grants that will be used for hands-on outdoor learning. One grant was awarded for a butterfly garden, which will be an outdoor "classroom" for hands-on, multi-disciplinary activities. The second grant will allow us to purchase a greenhouse and a composting system.
The Parent-Teacher Fellowship is announcing a project: Operation New Playground. The new playground will include a special area for our little ones and another for our bigger elementary school kiddos. The total cost of the project is $54,000 and we are hoping to break ground THIS Summer, but we need YOUR help.
