Thanks so much to everyone who attended this year's Meet the Teacher Night event! For some, this was the first time they were able to see the new courtyard we completed this summer. The new space has been such a great place for the kids to spend time studying, enjoying recess, and eating their lunch.
As the September edition of the Knight News comes out, our JV/Varsity squad will have had 3 matches in the month of August. In September, our JV/Varsity squad will have had 14 matches! Our middle school squad will kick-off September 1st and will have 8 matches during the month of September, concluding around the first week of October with their end-of-the-year tournament.
Our visual arts, music, and drama programs continue to be a critical component of the quality, Christ-centered education at SBCA. Next Wednesday, Aug. 12th, is our first day of the 2020-2021 school year and we look forward to welcoming our families back to school! Parents, please make sure to mark the following dates on your calendar.
As we quickly approach the start of the 2020-2021 school year, we are continuing to do all we can to prepare for a safe return to school. Part of our efforts have included implementing facility modifications to help reinforce social distancing guidelines, purchasing additional cleaning supplies, and, as you can imagine, many hours of research and planning.
More than 60 South Baldwin Christian Academy (SBCA) students received the distinction of Honor Roll by earning all A's or A's and B's on their report cards for all four quarters of the 2019-2020 school year. Congratulations, we're so proud of all your hard work!

As you know, we have been monitoring the COVID-19 situation very closely to fully understand how our 2020 Summer Camp might be impacted. While planning for this summer, we've considered a multitude of factors, including government restrictions, the health and safety of our students and staff, and the potential to conduct camp activities amongst all of the current restrictions.
